CONCEPT
This design revolves around 21st century techonology, incorporating the automative technologies we now have into a sliding barrier which autonomously opens when a tram arrives for safety, as well as large displays on the top of the structure which could be utitilised for ads, weather, announcements, tram schedules and so on. The structure also has a second level for possible future expansions of a second tram line above the first.

THEORY
My bridge connects the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DRAMATIC ARTS, Squarehouse, Red Centre and the School of Engineering. The bridge aims to be future proof, and sustainable, constructed from mainly glass to allow for maximum natural lighting as it is unobstructed by surrounding buildings with adjustable panels on it's exterior, to control the amount of light.
